Sulphur Springs, Texas.  An East Texas family appeared in district court in Hopkins County, Texas seeking a judgment for the policy limits that tendered on behalf of a negligent driver.  The family also purchased an underinsured motorist policy that was in good standing the day of the crash.  The driver was the mother of three minor children that were all passengers at the time of the collision.  

The family was represented by Tab Lawhorn of Tyler, Texas.  The family intends on using the proceeds from their settlement for college tuition for the kids.
