Vidor, Texas.  A young East Texas man was involved in a two vehicle collision in Beaumont, TX where he was severely injured.  Multiple surgeries were needed to repair a leg fracture he suffered at the point of impact.  Within a couple of days of his first surgery, he hired Tab Lawhorn of Lawhorn & Malouf, PLLC.  The at fault driver's insurance limits were tendered from the carrier immediately.  A claim was filed against multiple carriers that sold an underinsured policy to Mr. Lawhorn's client.  These policies were active policies at the time of the crash.

After a final corrective surgery, a settlement was reached by the parties for both policies full policy amounts.  The full and final settlement disbursements were made to the young man on the one year anniversary of the crash.  He has made a full physical recovery.
